Publisher Integration Engineer

Position Summary

Technical account liaison for Dotomi publisher relationships ensuring successful new publisher integrations and operation of existing relationships. Responsible for implementation and technical relationship management, automation and media support.

Essential Job Functions/Activities

  • Integrate new and existing publishers into the Dotomi system: design, develop, implement and test technical solutions based on business requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of publisher implementation. 
  • Create and update integration documentation
  • Provide technical support and know how to media team.
  • Implement changes to existing client’s campaigns, integration and monitoring tools.
  • Provide primary QA support for publisher integrations
  • Explain and help assess new technical implementations internally and externally with partners.
  • Work with Dotomi R&D to expand, debug and troubleshoot the system
  • Troubleshoot and solve existing publisher technical issues.
  • % allocation: 40% publisher integration implementation, 40% Troubleshooting/Optimization, 20% automation/process improvement

Minimum Job Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to support the needs of the Client Operations Team at Dotomi.  A strong candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience: 2+ highly relevant experience
  • Specific Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of HTML, JavaScript and PHP.
  • Understanding of HTTP, XML and web technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Experience communicating technical information to non-technical people.
  • An understanding of publisher / ad network dynamics and the ability to effectively communicate with third party technical and sales teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills using data to find anomalies and test hypotheses.
  • Good working knowledge of databases and SQL  (experience with Postgres, Oracle or MSSQL is a plus).
  • Programming experience and understanding of programming concepts
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (shell, python, Perl) is a plus
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications, etc.
